FOOTbowl part I & II is the result of a reseach project for the evlution of simple shapes in everyday, functionally well-known products.
While three feet offers the simplest solution for economic standing, more feets will protect the object against tipping over when it is filled with various objects.
The material of the bowl itself is traditional mouthblown glas from one of the last remaining glashuts worldwide, the only one in germany. It is produced in a complex process and excels in its unique stucture and vivid colours.
That makes every piece unique like a fingerprint.
In contrast to this high value material the feet are made out of common silicone and are a pure functional form with the ability to cushion the glas and prevend it from sliping.
